I am Dalan, and I am a junior in college. Six months ago, with the help of a mentor, I
started a small consulting business for document revision called, “AccuApp
Consulting LLC”. It was the first time I
had started a business or done anything like it. It fascinated me and drove my passion.
My coursework suddenly began to revolve around
entrepreneurship and business. My mind
was consumed with the mechanics and logistics and mostly the art of
business. I felt like the white-haired
composer who violently tosses his arms to and fro, consumed by his passion for
music and his excitement in directing and organizing the instruments in his
orchestra to create a masterpiece.
The white-haired conductor in me was screaming for an
opportunity to orchestrate a masterpiece.
He found his outlet through my web business class in the spring of
2009. The art of creating a business
combined with the excitement and enticement of technology kindled the flame of
entrepreneurial fire like nothing had before!
I would buy quality wholesale USB flash drives and sell them at a great
price, and Discount Flash Memory was formed as a DBA of AccuApp Consulting LLC.
I wanted a website that looked clean, sharp, and
professional, but I quickly found that creating a website could be a long and
difficult process requiring knowledge that I did not have. I used a free online tool and jumped in
head-first.
Now my business is running, my white-haired conductor is
violently tossing his arms to and fro in a creative frenzy, and I love what I
do.
