What is a PeerSphere?
The WBS PeerSphere™ communities allow you to learn from other business leaders' experience, comments and preferences.
The most valuable information for most business owners is the advice from someone who has been there before and is willing to share from their successes and failures. PeerSpheres create a way to see what business leaders similar to you search for, find useful and have to say about a wealth of business topics.
How do I "join" a PeerSphere?
PeerSpheres are automatically created for you by industry, size of business, age of business and geography when you create an account and complete your PeerSphere Profile. In addition, you can create your own Personal PeerSphere by adding other WBS users you find across the site to your personal sphere.
How do I add others to my personal PeerSphere?
Throughout the site you will see "Add to PeerSphere" links located near usernames of other users. Simply click the "Add to PeerSphere" link and they are included. In addition, whenever you see another user displayed, click on their username and you will be given the option to add them to your PeerSphere.
Add other users to your personal PeerSphere when you value their comments, topic posts or feel they would be a good fit based on their bio information. You control who is in your personal PeerSphere, the user you added does not need to "accept" for them to be added. It is up to you to choose those you feel are the most helpful to you.
A list of recent users who have added you to their personal PeerSphere's is displayed on the right column on the PeerSpheres page.
Where can I view my PeerSpheres?
You can view your PeerSpheres by clicking on the PeerSpheres tab at the top of every page. Your Personal PeerSphere is listed first, followed by the PeerSpheres generated from your PeerSphere Profile.
From the PeerSpheres page you can see a summary of recent activity. Click the title or the "view more" button to see more popular searches, recent comments, recent suggestions, new topics and most active users.
How can I remove myself from a PeerSphere?
Click on the "view more" link of a PeerSphere on the PeerSpheres page, then click the 'Leave PeerSphere'.
